Zelensky, Macron working on Normandy Four Summit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s press service said Wednesday that French President Emmanuel Macron agreed to Zelensky’s proposal to hold the Normandy Four Summit, which would bring the leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France together.

“Emmanuel Macron has expressed full support for Ukraine’s initiatives and agreed that it is necessary to hold a summit soon, which should take place after a meeting of official representatives of all four parties,” the press service said in a statement.

It has also been reported that Macron promised to contact both German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the initiative and the timing for the possible summit.
