Who is Reality Winner and why is NSA afraid of her?

Former U.S. intelligence expert Reality Winner who was charged with copying classified material and sending them to the media in 2017, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 5 years in prison. The girl is accused of disclosure of US classified information about alleged Russia’s attempts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. The material mentioned above is the property of the US National Security Agency (NSA).

26-year-old Winner who was a contractor to Pluribus International Corporation, accountable National Security Agency, confessed to copying a secret report which was reported to describe in detail the real actions of the Russian government during the 2016 presidential election. The agency should think about the ideological preparation of its entourage until Snowden and Winners show the skeletons in the closet.

Earlier, the American Powers never reported about the content of the message and did not identify news agencies gained access to classified materials.

The interesting fact is the leak of the document which was out on The Intercept, the online news publication, in June 2017. It dated the same as the NSA report published by Winner. Another coincidence refers to the US Department of Justice that arrested the girl on the same day when the report appeared on the website of the online publication.

While the document is to shed some light on Russia’s interference in the 2016 elections, it does not show the whole nonsense due to which the analysis is based on. One of the American intelligence officers who wished to remain anonymous warned against conclusions concerning the written part.

If to make out the available information, it will become clear that the report is lack of specific evidence of the involvement of Russian special services in the US voting system. For example, the statement, “Russian hacking may have penetrated further into U.S. voting systems,” suggests that they could not have penetrated, as well.

Moreover, the NSA report does not conclude whether the already unproven interference could influence the election results. Thus, it is recognized that many possible hacker attacks remain unknown. The report reads “the possibility that Russian hacking may have breached at least some elements of the voting system, with disconcertingly uncertain results.”

According to above-presented information, the top-secret NSA report seems not to have any real evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 election process, and the detention and arrest of Reality Winner is not only punishment for leaking confidential information but also an attempt to removing those who know how “Russiagate” works in fact.
