The United States and Turkey had a conversation on the phone during which Donald Trump expressed his concern over the Syrian conflict, TASS cited Deputy White House press secretary Judd Deere.
«President Trump expressed concern over the violence in Idlib, Syria, and thanked President Erdogan for Turkey’s efforts to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe,» the official said. «President Trump conveyed the United States’ desire to see an end to Russia’s support for the Assad regime’s atrocities and for a political resolution to the Syrian conflict.»
The conflict sharply worsened when Russia and Turkey tried to reach a ceasefire among terroristic organizations. As a result, their native troops were killed and Syria made a reversed attack on the terrorists seizing the region around Idlib on February 5.
