Trump attack Mueller after his testimony postponed

US President Donald Trump attacked former special counsel Robert Mueller as his testimony before Congress had been rescheduled, reported the Washington Examiner.

President Trump is spending his weekend in the White House and started off his Saturday with tweeting and retweeting. In the morning Trump retweeted a number of tweets from an American conservative activist group Judicial Watch.

It is not the first time President Trump accuses Mueller of deleting messages of former FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz was the one who uncovered text messages of Page and Strzok despising Trump. Although there is no evidence that the text messages really were deleted, Trump said it was “illegal deletion by Mueller.”

In his morning tweets President Trump also attacked Andrew McCabe, former FBI Deputy Director. “Andy McCabe is a major sleazebag,” he said.

McCabe, who was fired in March 2018, claimed that his firing was nothing more but Trump trying to undermine Mueller’s investigation. McCabe is one of many calling for impeachment proceedings to be launched as soon as possible.
