Serbia accused of interfering into US elections

Michael Carpenter, former advisor of the former US Vice President Joseph Biden and current Presidential candidate of Democratic Party, said that the announcement of Ivica Dacic, Serbian Foreign Minister, about his intention to organize a Serb Diaspora in the US to support Donald Trump in the election is a sign of interference in US domestic politics.

“The Serbian Foreign Minister plans to interfere in US domestic politics by rallying Serbian Americans to support Trump in 2020,” Carpenter wrote in his Twitter, adding that he “personally think he’s making a big mistake, and U.S. support for Serbia’s European path should remain a bipartisan issue.”
