The Russian President Vladimir Putin assured that Moscow is ready to interact with other states on the principles of equal rights.
“Russia is open for mutually beneficial cooperation with all states without exception on the principles of equal rights, consideration of each other’s interests, non-interference into internal affairs and respect for international law,” the Head of State said at the ceremony of presenting credentials of ambassadors of foreign states.
“As a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, our country contributes to settlement of acute regional crises, to resolution of other international problems. We stand for ensurance of equal and indivisible security, organisation of fair system of international economic relations, for freedom against unfair competition, unilateral and politically motivated sanctions,” the Russian Leader said. According to him, “the Russian Federation is guided by these approaches working in the United Nations, in its sectoral and regional structures, in other multilateral formats, including the G20.”
Putin wished new ambassadors a good luck. In his opinion, they have to “an important and responsible mission – to aid the development of relations between the represented states and Russia.” “I hope that the issues on promoting political dialogue, economic, humanitarian and other ties will always be under your reviews,” he addressed to diplomats. And he assured:
“We are sincerely interested in the success of this work and, naturally, we will provide full support to all your useful undertakings.”
