Speaking at the closed-doors meeting with House Democrats, Pelosi reportedly labeled Trump’s SOTU speech «a disgrace» and said it was outrageous.

«He shredded the truth, so I shredded the speech,» Pelosi reportedly said.

Previously some have suggested that Pelosi ripped up her copy because President Trump had not shaken her hand at the beginning of his speech. House Speaker took the matter to Twitter and posted a picture of her outstretching her hand toward Trump. However, some suggested that Trump simply did not see the move.
