Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller did not answer one of the main questions of the investigation about the “Russian interference”. This surprised the head of the US Justice Department, Richard Barr, reports RIA news.
According to Barr, Mueller did not indicate whether US President Donald Trump interfered with justice. He said he was not sure what was his explanations. He also noted that if the special prosecutor did not do this, then further investigation into the president should not be conducted.
The report on “Russian interference” in the American elections was published by Mueller on April 18. Kremlin called the accusations against Russia presented in this paper insufficiently reasoned.
Russian officials have many times denied allegations of attempts to interfere in the election campaigns of other states.
