As reported by TASS, US Special Prosecutor Robert Muller, who completed the investigation into the incriminated Russian intervention in the American elections in 2016, will speak at hearings in the US Congress scheduled for May 15. David Sicilini (Democrat from Rhode Island), a member of the legal committee of the lower house of Congress, told Fox News about reaching such an agreement on Sunday.
“The approximate date is set for May 15,” the channel cites the words of the congressman. He was asked if the special prosecutor himself agreed to answer the questions of the legislators. “The representative of the special prosecutor has agreed,” replied Sicilini.
As reported by Reuters, Muller agreed to testify in May, but a specific date has yet to be chosen. The adviser to US President Donald Trump Kelliann Conway emphasized, the White House does not object to Muller speaking at the hearing if he wants to do this.
