Graham wants Barack Obama to answer questions about Trump-Russia probe

Lindsey Graham, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman, claimed that President Barack Obama should be put under oath and testify about his administration’s involvement in Trump-Russia investigation, Washington Examiner reported.

Graham stated that it is crucial to know how President Obama learned about the counterintelligence probe into Trump campaign. Graham also stated that he wants Andrew McCabe, former FBI Deputy Director, James Comey, former FBI Director, John Brennan, former CIA Director, and James Clapper, former Director of National Intelligence, to testify before the committee.

In an interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News, Graham said that he wanted to get to the bottom of the investigation of the Trump campaign.

“I can’t imagine an investigation of the Republican nominee for president — a counterintelligence investigation of his campaign — was not approved at the highest level,” Graham said Wednesday. “I cannot imagine it happening without somebody in the White House knowing about it.»

When asked whether he would ask former President to testify, Graham responded: “Absolutely.”

“I’d like to know what President Obama thought about the investigation,” he added.

The chairman also talked about McCabe currently being hired by CNN. “CNN has just hired the alleged architect of a criminal conspiracy against the Trump campaign,” Graham said. “So how much time and attention do you think they are going to give to the Horowitz report when they hired the guy that Horowitz is investigating?”
