Before the summit, which took place today, Russian President reportedly spoke to Emmanuel Macron, President of France. The two leaders discussed joint efforts in a fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
G20 leaders also focused on the COVID-19 pandemic and ways to combat the spread of the virus. According to a report by the Russian News Agency TASS, “the heads of state discussed coordination of actions on fighting the coronavirus and economic fallout on the pandemic.”
The 2020 summit of the G20 leaders is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia in November.
