Hillary Clinton responded to Donald Trump’s recent tweets about “progressive congresswomen” and situation in the country at all, putting all responsibility on him.
“They’re from America. And you’re right about one thing: Currently their government is a complete and total catastrophe,” Clinton twitted.
She wrote in Twitter an hour after Trump tweeted that “progressive” Dem congresswomen of the countries “whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe”. He persistently recommended to return to the “broken and crime infested places from which they came.” The remarks were considered sarcastic and caustic attack on four high-ranking women: Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.), Rashida Tlaib (Mich.), Ayanna Pressley (Mass.) and Ilhan Omar (Minn.). However, only Ilhan Omar was born far from the U.S. and then, immigrated in the childhood.
Clinton convicted Trump’s comments towards her, punishing him for spreading “sexist trash” and accusing his administration of leading “despicable” acts. She begged to “continue to speak out and fight for our basic rights,” despite irritation of officials in Washington.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi began to protect her colleagues blaming Trump in “xenophobic comments meant to divide our nation.”
Republicans took another position: not to comment at all. Meanwhile, the hosts of “Fox & Friends” started applauding Trump.
However, Trump pointed out that it was “so sad to see the Democrats sticking up for people who speak so badly of our Country.”
“Their disgusting language and the many terrible things they say about the United States must not be allowed to go unchallenged. If the Democrat Party wants to continue to condone such disgraceful behavior, then we look even more forward to seeing you at the ballot box in 2020!” Trump wrote in Twitter.
