American flag burned outside White House on Independence Day

This year’s US Independence Day celebrated Thursday was marked with protesters burning a US flag next to the White House, reported Ani News Friday.

According to the report, two Revolutionary Communist Party members were arrested by the Secret Service for “burning an American flag outside the limits of a permit that had been issued by the National Park Service.” A group of protesters was agitating against the sitting US President Donald Trump and chanting “America was never great”. They burned two US flags outside the White House one hour before the POTUS was supposed to leave for an event held at the Lincoln Memorial.

A man, who identified himself as a veteran, grabbed one of the burning flags trying to save it.
